Also check that this pack’s ID number has not been duplicated in the system – you cannot have two pack IDs the same. Finally, check that the lasertag system has a valid licence by opening the Application Licence Server (ALS) and confirming the licence details shown on the screen are correct and valid.

Any pack which is behaving strangely or exhibiting a solid green light on the back board could automatically change its pack ID to be 0. Uploading the pack settings in to a pack that is in Maintenance Mode will usually result in the pack working normally once again.

If it is not, right-click on it to modify its settings and enable it. Once it has been enabled in the GameServer software for use with the system, the game unit will similarly need to be enabled in the main Control Centre program to make it work with games. Check the parameters in the Control Centre to ensure this is the case.

The IP addresses were changed in the next versions of the base to be 192.168.2.100, 192.168.2.101, 192.168.2.102, and so on. The latest versions of the Zone’s game units, when first powered on, will verbally announce the unit’s IP address. As an example, for a base, you might hear the unit say “One nine two dot one six eight dot two dot one-hundred” (or whatever the specific unit’s applicable IP address is) when the unit is first powered on.
