What is an IP address? |
A | An IP address is a unique string of numbers separated by full stops that individually identifies computers and related equipment to allow communication over a network. For lasertag purposes, the IP addresses of computers, peripherals and devices are set as “static” meaning they are purposefully configured to be a specific set of chosen numbers. Doing this provides for easy setup and installation as well as allowing support personnel and technicians to do simple fault finding as and if required. |
