Q |
Do my packs have to be switched on or off when they’re on charge?
|
A |
Packs must always be switched on, before being placed on charge.
|
Q |
How do I block/unblock a pack in the system?
|
A |
Open the GameServer software on the screen by double-clicking its icon, go to the Packs tab, locate the pack you wish to block/unblock and right-click on it. Select block/unblock from the sub-menu.

Q |
I have two pack IDs the same
|
A |
Pack ID numbers must not be duplicated. Duplicated pack IDs will cause erratic behaviour such as packs not starting. Use the remote hand held controller, phone, or tablet device to modify the pack IDs and make them unique.

My Control Centre keeps freezing

A |
Make sure your Control Centre is running using elevated privileges (right-click on the program or its shortcut and choose “Run as Administrator” from the sub-menu which appears). If this does not resolve the issue, you should contact support for further advice.

Q |
My game unit (base, Game Station, Pickup Pad, target controller, etc) does not start in games
|
A |
Open the GameServer software on the screen by double-clicking its icon, go to the Network tab, locate the game unit in the list and check to see that it is enabled and active. If it is not, right-click on it to modify its settings and enable it. Once it has been enabled in the GameServer software for use with the system, the game unit will similarly need to be enabled in the main Control Centre program to make it work with games. Check the parameters in the Control Centre to ensure this is the case.
|
Q |
My pack does not start.
|
A |
Make sure your pack is online and is not “blocked" in the GameServer. Also check that this pack’s ID number has not been duplicated in the system – you cannot have two pack IDs the same. Finally, check that the lasertag system has a valid licence by opening the Application Licence Server (ALS) and confirming the licence details shown on the screen are correct and valid.

Q |
My Pack ID 0 is acting strangely
|
A |
You should avoid using or enabling pack ID 0 as one of your active packs for game play – this is a special pack ID used by the system for Maintenance Mode. Any pack which is behaving strangely or exhibiting a solid green light on the back board could automatically change its pack ID to be 0. Uploading the pack settings in to a pack that is in Maintenance Mode will usually result in the pack working normally once again.
